Dopo aver iniziato il progetto Siblings per sostenere i fratelli dei ragazzi disabili abbiamo deciso, in parallelo, di organizzare degli incontri rivolti ai genitori di questi ragazzi. Insomma, in coerenza con la missione di CasaOz, abbiamo pensato di occuparci di tutto il nucleo famigliare perché siamo convinti che occuparsi della famiglia nel suo complesso riduce il rischio di sviluppare difficoltà emotive anche gravi.
Ecco il pensiero che mamma Monica ha voluto lasciarci dopo aver partecipato ad alcuni incontri.
“L’esperienza di condivisione del proprio dolore e della propria rabbia, o dei piccoli momenti di gioia è sempre un momento importante soprattutto se questo viene fatto insieme a persone che sanno cosa voglia dire.
Essere adulti a volte ci impedisce, proprio per quei filtri che ci hanno insegnato ci debbano essere, di tirare fuori le nostre emozioni e le nostre lacrime.
Questo è stato un percorso davvero fondamentale per me, ho imparato che nella vita non ci si deve mai perdere d’animo, che noi genitori speciali riusciamo sempre a trovare uno spiraglio di luce nelle nostre tenebre, ho imparato che non c’è solo il mio dolore e spesso mi sono portata a casa il dolore anche delle mie amiche.
Ma poi ho portato con me anche le loro risate e i loro cambiamenti.
Ho dato qualche consiglio per ritrovare un po’ noi stesse sia soltanto con un po’ di mascara e una gonna che con una passeggiata in centro.
Tra noi si è sicuramente creato un rapporto molto forte e di grande affetto e amicizia tanto da confidarci cose molto intime inerenti la nostra vita coniugale.
Ho imparato che insieme possiamo attraversare le nostre sofferenze e superarle per trovare insieme il nostro fragile equilibrio.”
